By downloading, installing, or using the Fintor mobile application or visiting getfintor.com (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Jackson Pipes ("Fintor," "we," "us," or "our").
Fintor is an AI-powered financial education application that provides AI-generated financial guidance, personalized financial guidance reports, portfolio and investment tracking, market data, budgeting tools, and daily financial education content. The Service is available in English and Spanish and is designed for users in the United States.
Fintor is NOT a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, financial planner, or any other type of licensed financial professional. All content is for educational and informational purposes only.
The information provided through Fintor does not constitute personalized investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, tax advice, legal advice, insurance advice, or financial planning services as defined by any regulatory body.
Fintor respects and supports the work of licensed financial professionals. Our goal is to provide financial education that helps users become better prepared to work with advisors, not to replace them. Always consult a qualified and licensed financial professional such as a CFP®, CPA, or licensed investment advisor before making significant financial decisions.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Fintor. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission. The Service is intended for users located in the United States.
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the security of your credentials, notify us immediately of any unauthorized access, and accept responsibility for all activities under your account.
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. Financial information you enter is used solely to generate personalized educational content for you. We do not sell this information to third parties for marketing purposes.
You agree not to use the Service to violate applicable laws, impersonate any person, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the Service, transmit harmful content, use the Service for commercial purposes without consent, reverse engineer any portion of the Service, or use automated tools to scrape data.
The Service and all its content, features, logos, and trademarks are owned by Fintor and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
The Service integrates with Anthropic Claude API (AI responses), Supabase (database and authentication), Yahoo Finance (market data), and Resend (email delivery). Market data may be delayed and is for informational purposes only. We are not responsible for third-party services.
We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any information provided. Financial laws, tax rules, and contribution limits change frequently. AI-generated content may contain errors. Always verify important financial information with authoritative sources or a licensed professional.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FINTOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING FINANCIAL LOSSES FROM RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE. FINTOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fintor and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through Account Settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bexar County, Texas.
Before filing a formal claim, contact us at hello@getfintor.com to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt resolution within 30 days of written notice.
